About Rebecca Rodriguez
Rebecca Rodriguez is a strategic communications executive and former major market television journalist whose career spans investigative and political reporting, crisis management, and senior leadership at some of the most visible institutions in Texas.
She has served as chief spokesperson and communications lead for public and private sector organizations and has vast experience in the nonprofit and arts. Rebecca also served as district director for U.S. House of Representatives Congressional District 12 and has managed crisis response for organizations nationwide. In 2011, she pioneered one of the first municipal-branded newsrooms in the country, a model she has since replicated across multiple sectors.
Rebecca founded Ciano Media in 2006 to bring journalist-trained instincts to the way organizations communicate. That means knowing which stories matter, how to tell them clearly, and how to protect and build a reputation when it counts most.
